THRIFTY CAR RENTAL McDonald’s CARD GIVEAWAY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

  1. $5 MCDONALD’S ARCH CARD GIVEAWAY. Thrifty Car Rental customers subject to U.S. Government corporate rate agreements, who are legal U.S. residents, 18 or older, with valid U.S. driver’s licenses, are eligible to receive a $5 McDonald’s® Arch Card® for each U.S. rental from Thrifty Car Rental between September 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010. Giveaway begins at 1:00 A.M. (Central Time) on September 1, 2009 and ends at 5:00 P.M. (Central Time) on December 31, 2010. Thrifty Car Rental shall provide an Offer Code to each U.S. Government renter by direct mail. Further, a U.S. Government renter may also access ThriftyGiftCardGiveaway.com and obtain an Offer Code from this website. To receive a complimentary $5 McDonald’s® Arch Card®, you must visit ThriftyGiftCardGiveaway.com and enter the Offer Code, qualifying Rental Agreement Number for the Thrifty U.S. rental during the period from September 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010 and follow the additional Giveaway instructions on the website. Free Internet access and email accounts are available at many public libraries. Only one entry per each U.S. rental and Offer Code is allowed. Entries must be received by 5:00 P.M. (Central Time) on December 31, 2010. The complimentary $5 McDonald’s® Arch Card® shall be mailed to the address submitted by the Thrifty customer.

  2. $15 MCDONALD’S® ARCH CARD® SWEEPSTAKES ELIGIBILITY. The $15 McDonald’s® Arch Card® Sweepstakes is open to Thrifty customers subject to U.S. Government corporate rate agreements, who are legal U.S. residents, 18 or older, with valid U.S. driver’s licenses, and who have entered and are eligible to receive the $5 McDonald’s® Arch Card® Giveaway.

  3. HOW TO ENTER; PURCHASE NECESSARY. The $15 McDonald’s® Arch Card® Sweepstakes begins at 1:00 A.M. (Central Time) on September 1, 2009 and ends at 5:00 P.M. (Central Time) on December 31, 2010. Each U.S. Government Thrifty customer who, by purchasing a Thrifty U.S. rental during the period from September 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010, visits ThriftyGiftCardGiveaway.com and enters the Offer Code, the qualifying Rental Agreement Number and follows the additional $5 McDonald’s® Arch Card® Giveaway instructions, is automatically eligible for the $15 McDonald’s® Arch Card® Sweepstakes.

  4. ONE HUNDRED $15 MCDONALD’S® Arch Card® PRIZES. One hundred Offer Codes will randomly be selected as a winner of a $15 McDonald’s® Arch Card®. Beginning September 1, 2009 and continuing through December 31, 2010, each time a Thrifty customer visits ThriftyGiftCardGiveaway.com and enters the Offer Code, the qualifying Rental Agreement Number and follows the additional $5 McDonald’s® Arch Card® Giveaway instructions, the customer will be immediately notified electronically whether the Offer Code entered has been randomly selected as a winner of a $15 McDonald’s® Arch Card® prize. No prize transfer or substitution. Average Retail Value for all $15 McDonald’s® Arch Card®: $1,500. Odds depend upon total Offer Codes generated for direct mailing and on-line delivery to customers, initially estimated to be 2,000 (1:20).

  5. CONDITIONS. By entering the Giveaway/Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the Sponsor, Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc., which are final. Giveaway/Sweepstakes submissions and materials void if incomplete or not obtained legitimately, or if they contain errors. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, stolen or misdirected transmissions or mail or for any interruptions in or failure of any electronic means of communication, or any injury or damage to any computer resulting from participation in this Giveaway/Sweepstakes. Entry is deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting email address at the time of entry. If, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Giveaway/Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Giveaway/Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Giveaway/Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all entries received as of the termination date. Should the Giveaway/Sweepstakes be modified, suspended or terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the home page of ThriftyGiftCardGiveaway.com. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value should featured prize become unavailable. Taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winners.

  6. LIST OF WINNERS. Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Thrifty.com McDonald’s® Arch Card® Giveaway/Sweepstakes, care of the Sponsor, Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc. MS 2W1 5350 E. 31st Street, Tulsa, OK 74135 by December 31, 2010.

  7. GENERAL. Employees, officers, directors and their immediate families/households of Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc., its affiliates and franchisees, and anyone involved in this Giveaway/Sweepstakes’ production, development or handling are ineligible to participate.
